Note - Multi-factor authentication is available on Business+ plan only.

STEP 1: Head to the Accounts page to see your MFA settings

  1. Choose the ‘Profile settings’ option and scroll toward the bottom of the page.

  2. Under ‘Account’, you will see the Multi-Factor Authentication option. Click on the ‘Manage MFA’ button.

Note: After Step 1, you can set up either OTP authentication (Step 2) or email authentication (Step 3), or both (Step 2 and Step 3).

STEP 2: Setup OTP-based Multi-Factor Authentication

  1. A pop-up will be displayed once you click on ‘Manage MFA’. Choose the ‘Setup OTP Authentication’ option to enable OTP-based authentication.

  2. Follow the steps shown in the pop-up displayed. Here are the steps again:

    1. Open an Authenticator app like Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator.
    2. Scan the QR Code with your Authenticator App or paste the secret key in the app to generate a one-time password (OTP).
    3. Enter the OTP generated.

3. Click on Submit to finish setting up OTP-based authentication. You will see the following:

Note: Save the recovery key shown in the displayed pop-up, as it won’t be displayed after this step. The recovery key will be required to regain account access if you lose your device or the account used for MFA.

STEP 3: Setup email-based authentication

  1. From the pop-up displayed after you click on ‘Manage MFA’, choose the ‘Setup Email Authentication’ option to enable email-based authentication.

  2. An email containing a one-time password (OTP) will be sent to your registered email address from Auth0. Enter the OTP generated.

  3. Click on Submit to finish setting up email-based authentication.

Note: After setting up both OTP Authentication and Email Authentication, your MFA settings will look like the following:

STEP 5: Log out of your account after you’ve successfully completed the above steps.

STEP 6: Done! Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is now enabled for your account.

  1. Every time you log in to your Uniqode account, you will be prompted to enter the one-time code after your username and password.

  2. The default authentication method chosen is OTP-based authentication. Click ‘Try another method’ to choose your preferred method.

  3. For authenticator OTP authentication, enter the OTP displayed in the authenticator app.
For email OTP authentication, enter the OTP sent in your email.
For recovery key OTP authentication, enter the recovery key you saved in Step 2.

IMPORTANT: Please save the new recovery key once you use the existing recovery key for authentication.
