Sync contacts with Outlook

Learn how to export leads collected from your Uniqode Cards to Outlook

Written by Bidisha Sinha

When you share your digital business cards, you can capture your peers’ contact information, which is automatically organized under the Contact Manager menu. To take the next step in nurturing these leads, you can easily export them to your CRM or email platform.

With Uniqode Cards’ Outlook integration, contact syncing is seamless—so you can stay organized and focus on building meaningful connections.

Prerequisites

  • Uniqode Team plan and above with administrator privileges

  • An Outlook account with administrator permissions

Integrate Outlook with Your Uniqode Cards Account

Initiate Installation

  1. Sign in to your Uniqode Cards account

  2. Navigate to Integrations from the left-hand menu

  3. Locate and click on the Outlook integration card

  4. Click Connect

Grant Permissions to the Uniqode App

After clicking Connect, you will be redirected to Outlook to grant permissions.

  1. Select your organization’s account and proceed

  2. Review the requested permissions carefully

  3. Click Accept to authorize access

  4. Wait for Outlook to redirect you back to the Uniqode Cards dashboard

Once permissions are granted, you will land on the Outlook integration page, where you can view an overview of your contact sync status.

Synced Contacts in Outlook

Leads collected from your organization’s cards will appear in your Outlook contacts.

  • For contacts to sync, card owner must be part of your Outlook organization

  • If card owner is not on Outlook, contact sync will fail

Note: Outlook does not always support a “Contact Owner” field in the same way as traditional CRMs. This behavior may vary depending on your Microsoft setup (e.g., Outlook vs. Dynamics).

Contact Sync Status in Uniqode

  • Go to Lead Sync Summary

  • Click on Synced or Failed to view filtered contact lists

Note: Leads are automatically synced every 15 minutes.

Retry Sync

For leads that failed to sync:

  1. Select individual or multiple leads

  2. Click Sync Again to retry

Important

  • Leads collected before connecting Outlook will not be synced automatically

  • Ensure permissions remain active; revoking access in Outlook may interrupt syncing

  • If syncing fails repeatedly, verify admin permissions and account connection status
