With Uniqode, you can do more than create a Restaurant Menu QR Code. With additional features designed to help make your menus more contextual and engaging, Uniqode enables you to capture your restaurant's digital experience.

Here's how:

1. Make menus disappear based on hours

When displaying menus via QR Codes to diners at your restaurant, you can automatically hide specific ones based on the time so that what’s visible to a customer when they scan the QR Code are only those menus you can serve. You can use this feature to hide, e.g., a breakfast menu when it’s dinner time.

Here’s how it works:

Step 1: Navigate to the Restaurant Menu creation page

Log in to the Uniqode dashboard and select Create QR Code.

Select Restaurant Menu from the list of QR Code campaigns.

Step 2: Disable menus based on hours

Go to Settings, and click on the toggle next to ‘Disable menus based on hours’. Continue filling in and uploading the remaining requirements for the Restaurant Menu QR Code.

Note: The preview on the right side of your screen doesn’t hide menus based on the hours.

Click Next.

Step 3: Customize your QR Code.

Customize the eyes, patterns, and frame, add a logo and more.

Click Next.

Step 4: Download your QR Code

Download the QR Code in any of the five available formats - PNG, JPG, SVG, PDF, and EPS.

Now, when a customer scans your QR Code, they’ll automatically see only those menus whose hours match the current time.

#2: More icons for menus and an additional text field

More icons are available for enhanced customization for your restaurant, and an additional text field to share disclaimers or other types of information.

Here’s how it works:

New icons for menu categories

While setting up your Restaurant Menu QR Code, click on the pencil icon next to the menu category.

You’ll notice more icons available for the category. Pick the most relevant one, fill in the remaining details, or add a custom one by clicking on 'Custom Icon". Click on ‘Update’ when done.

Additional text field to convey important information

Under the Branding tab, there’s a text field at the bottom of the page called ‘Footer’.

This is an optional text field to add, e.g., a disclaimer or any other information you want your customers to see.

Here’s how the text will be displayed to your diners:
