As your library of QR Codes grows, keeping them organized becomes essential. Folders allow you to neatly group QR Codes—making them easier to manage, search, and track.

Why use folders?

  • Group related QR Codes by campaign, event, product, or any category that makes sense for your workflow.

  • Save time by filtering or searching within a specific folder instead of scrolling through all your QR Codes.

Prerequisites

  • The folders feature is available on all plans.

Create a New Folder

  1. Sign in to your Uniqode account.

  2. Go to QR Codes from the left-hand menu.

  3. Click + New Folder.

  4. Enter a folder name.

  5. Click Create.

Add QR Codes to a Folder

  1. On the QR Code listing page, click the three-dot menu next to a QR Code.

  2. Select Move to Folder.

  3. Choose the destination folder.

  4. Click Move.

Add Multiple QR Codes to a Folder

  1. On the QR Code listing page, select multiple QR Codes.

  2. Click the three-dot menu on the top-right of the table and choose Move to Folder.

  3. Select the folder.

  4. Click Move.

Create a Subfolder

  1. From the QR Code listing page, open the folder where you want to add a subfolder.

  2. Click + New Folder.

  3. Enter a subfolder name.

  4. Click Create.

Folder Actions

Each folder comes with management options accessible through the three-dot menu:

  • Show Details – View folder info, including creation date and QR Codes it contains.

  • Rename – Update the folder name to reflect your project or campaign.

  • Move to Folder – Nest this folder inside another one for better organization.

  • View Analytics – Track performance and engagement across all QR Codes in the folder.

  • Download – Export all QR Codes in bulk for offline use or sharing.

  • Move to Trash – Delete the folder. All QR Codes inside will also be trashed and will stop working immediately.

Note: When a folder is moved to trash, all QR codes inside it will also be moved to trash and will stop working immediately. Make sure you want to delete them before confirming.

Best Practices

  • Use a clear folder hierarchy to make codes easy to find.

  • Combine folders with search and filter options to locate codes faster.

  • Use analytics at the folder level to understand overall campaign performance.

  • Archive or test before deleting folders to avoid accidentally disabling important QR codes.
