Collaborate on QR Codes with Editors

Work smarter as a team by sharing your QR Codes and folders with Editors in your organization

By adding collaborators, you can co-edit QR Codes, update designs, and maintain consistency — all without creating duplicate versions.

What Editors Can Do

Once added, collaborators can:

  • View and edit the content and settings of shared QR Codes

  • Update designs to align with your brand guidelines

  • Work together in real time, ensuring consistency and efficiency

Note: Admins in your organization automatically have access to all QR Codes.

Prerequisites

Before adding collaborators, ensure:

  • Your organization is on the Uniqode Plus plan or above

  • You have multiple users with Editor access

Adding Collaborators

For a New QR Code

  1. Sign in to your Uniqode account.

  2. Click +Create QR Code.

  3. Choose a QR Code type, add content, and customize it.

  4. In the Done step, go to the Collaborate with Editors section.

  5. Click Manage Collaborators.

  6. Select collaborators from the list of Editors in your organization.

  7. Optionally, click Select All to add all Editors.

  8. Click Done.

For an Existing QR Code

  1. On the QR Code listing page, select the QR Code you want to add collaborators to.

  2. Click the three-dot menu and choose Manage Collaborators.

  3. Follow steps 6–8 from the new QR Code instructions.

Adding Collaborators to Multiple QR Codes

  1. On the QR Code listing page, select the QR Codes you want to share.

  2. Click Manage Collaborators from the bulk actions menu.

  3. Select collaborators from your organization’s Editors list.

  4. Click Done.

Viewing Collaborators

To see who has access to a QR Code:

  1. Click Manage Collaborators in the QR Code view.

  2. The list of added collaborators appears under Shared With.

Removing Collaborators

  1. On the QR Code listing page, select the QR Code.

  2. Click Manage Collaborators from either the Done step or the three-dot menu.

  3. In the Shared With section, click the X next to the Editor you want to remove.

  4. Click Done.

Shared QR Codes for Collaborators

  • Shared QR Codes are marked with an icon and tooltip for collaborators.

  • To view only QR Codes shared with you, apply the Shared with Me filter and set it to True.

  • To hide shared QR Codes, set the filter to False.

Collaborate with Comments

Keep feedback and discussions where the work happens:

  1. On the QR Code listing page, click Comments under the Download button.

    • Or, in list view, click the three-dot menu and select Comments.

  2. Tag admins, viewers, and editors in your organization.

  3. Type your comment and press Enter.

Comments help teams stay aligned without switching between tools.

Best Practices

  • Only add trusted team members as editors.

  • Name QR Codes clearly to avoid confusion when collaborating.

  • Track updates regularly to maintain brand consistency.

  • Use comments to clarify instructions and keep feedback centralized.
