What happens to my QR codes, campaigns, and data if I cancel?

What stops working when you cancel your Uniqode subscription or account, and what to do before you cancel

Written by Bidisha Sinha

Cancelling your Uniqode subscription or account affects your QR codes, campaigns, and dashboard access. Some of these changes can't be undone. This article explains what happens when you cancel and what to do beforehand so you don't lose anything you need.

What happens when you cancel

QR codes

  • Dynamic QR codes are deactivated as soon as you cancel. People who scan them can no longer reach your content.

  • Static QR codes you've already created keep working. You can't create new static QR codes after you cancel.

QR code campaigns

All QR code campaigns stop working and become inaccessible after you cancel. This applies whether you cancel your subscription or your account.

Dashboard and data access

If you cancel your account, you lose access to the Uniqode dashboard immediately. You can no longer view or manage your QR codes, campaigns, or other data.

Before you cancel

Cancelling can't be reversed for your QR codes and campaigns, so complete these steps first.

  1. Export your data. If you have form responses or other important data in your account, export it so you keep a copy.

  2. Create any static QR codes you'll need. You won't be able to create new ones after you cancel.

  3. Review your active campaigns. Check which campaigns are still in use and decide whether you need to keep your subscription active to keep them running.

Note: Once you cancel, dynamic QR codes and campaigns can't be reactivated. If you still need them, keep your subscription active.

Frequently asked questions

Can I reactivate my QR codes or campaigns after cancelling?

No. Once your subscription or account is cancelled, your QR codes and campaigns can't be reactivated. To keep them working, you need an active subscription.

Will my static QR codes stop working after I cancel?

No. Static QR codes you've already created keep working. You just can't create new ones.

Tips for best results

  • Export before you cancel, not after

Cancelling your account removes dashboard access right away, so you can't export data afterwards.

  • Swap critical dynamic codes for static ones

If a printed QR code must keep working, create a static version before cancelling, since dynamic codes stop working immediately.
