Dynamic QR codes depend on an active Uniqode subscription. If your trial ends, you downgrade, or you cancel, this can affect whether your QR codes keep working. This article explains what happens in each case and how to avoid interruptions.
When your trial expires
Dynamic QR codes stop working when your trial expires.
To keep them working, upgrade to a paid plan before your trial ends.
When you downgrade your plan
Your dynamic QR codes stay active after a downgrade if both of these are true:
The downgrade takes effect on your renewal date. Schedule the downgrade so it starts on your current plan's renewal date.
You're within the new plan's limits. Make sure the number of active QR codes in your account doesn't exceed the limit of the plan you're moving to.
Note: Check your active QR code count before downgrading. If you have more active codes than the new plan allows, reduce the count first so your codes aren't interrupted.
When you cancel your subscription
After you cancel:
Dynamic QR codes stop working. People who scan them are not redirected to your content.
Your account and QR codes are kept. Your profile and existing QR codes stay stored in Uniqode, so nothing is lost if you come back later.
Reactivate your subscription
If you return to Uniqode after cancelling, you can reactivate your subscription and get your account and QR codes back. Because your data is kept after cancellation, you don't need to recreate your QR codes.
Tips for best results
Upgrade before your trial ends Upgrading before the trial end date keeps your dynamic QR codes working without a gap.
Time downgrades to your renewal date Downgrading on your renewal date keeps your QR codes active through the change.
Count your active QR codes before downgrading Staying within the new plan's limit avoids interruptions after the switch.
