QR Codes for coupons are an effective way for brands and retailers to attract new customers and boost engagement—without the hassle and clutter of traditional paper coupons. Customers can simply scan a QR Code with a coupon code, save the coupon to their device, and present it at checkout for a retailer to scan and apply the discount.
Users with Apple devices can even save coupon codes directly to their Apple Wallet for quick and easy redemption.

How to create a QR Code for a coupon
Sign in to your Uniqode account
In your Uniqode dashboard, click on +Create New in the left navigation bar.
Select QR Code from the dropdown
Under the Dynamic QR Codes section, select Coupon Code
Edit the default information to customize your coupon code details
Start by entering:
Your coupon code
The expiration date
The time zone for expiry
If needed, you can limit redemption by enabling Limit number of times the coupon can be used and entering a usage cap. This is helpful when running exclusive or limited-quantity promotions.
Next, add your:
Header
Description header
Offer message
You can also include:
Terms and conditions
Store or location details
Your brand logo
Switch tab to Themes to design your Coupon code page.
In the Themes section under the Setup tab, you can:
Choose a preset design template under Public Themes
Or customize your own design in Customize
If you edit a template, name your new theme and click Save Theme. All saved themes appear under My Themes, making it easy to reuse consistent branding in future campaigns.
For advanced customization, go to Additional Settings where you can apply:
Detailed styling controls
Custom CSS (best for teams with in-house developers or designers)
You can also specify the type of barcode users will receive when adding the coupon to Apple Wallet:

Choose the format your retail system supports.
Click Next to customize your QR Code
Click Next to rename, add note, or check Advanced Options for your QR Code
Click Finish
