With Uniqode, you can go far beyond generating a basic Restaurant Menu QR Code. Our advanced features help you deliver a more contextual, engaging, and seamless digital dining experience.
Below are two key capabilities you can start using right away.
Automatically show or hide menus based on hours
If you serve different menus throughout the day, you can configure your Restaurant Menu QR Code to display only the menus that match the current time. For example, customers will automatically stop seeing the breakfast section once your dinner service starts.
How it works
Step 1: Open the Restaurant Menu setup
Log in to your Uniqode dashboard.
Click Create QR Code.
Select Restaurant Menu from the list of QR Code types.
Set up your restaurant menu
Step 2: Enable time-based menu visibility
Note: The preview panel will not reflect hour-based visibility during setup. This logic applies only when a customer scans the code.
Step 3: Customize your QR Code
Style your QR Code by updating the patterns, eyes, frame, and logo.
If you want to learn more about customization options, refer to our detailed guide.
Click Next when finished.
Step 4: Download your QR Code
Download your QR Code in any of the supported formats: PNG, JPG, SVG, PDF, or EPS.
Once live, your diners will only see the menus that match the active time range you’ve configured.
Use more icons and add an optional footer for important information
To help your menus feel more polished and informative, Uniqode now offers additional icons for menu categories and a new footer text field for disclaimers or other notes.
New category icons
In your Restaurant Menu setup, click the pencil icon next to any menu category.
Choose from a broader set of category icons or upload your own.
Click Update to save your changes.
Tip: Use consistent icon styles across all categories to maintain a clean, professional look.
Optional footer text field
Go to the Branding tab.
At the bottom of the page, find the Footer field.
Add any relevant note, such as dietary disclaimers, tax information, or service policies.
This text appears at the bottom of the menu your diners see after scanning.
