Watchlist lets you receive daily notifications about specific QR Codes you want to monitor closely. This helps you stay informed about scan activity in real time, ensuring you can engage with your audience promptly and adjust your strategies as needed.
The Watchlist feature lets you monitor your QR Code performance, making it easier to respond quickly to new scans and optimize your engagement strategies.
Note: Watchlist is available starting from the Pro plan.
Why use Watchlist?
If you’re actively tracking your QR Codes and find that weekly analytics reports aren’t enough, the Watchlist feature is for you. It enables you to get more frequent updates, helping you maximize the value of your QR Codes by responding to scan activity as it happens.
How to add a QR Code to your Watchlist
During QR Code creation :
Login to your Uniqode dashboard.
Go to Create on the top right of your dashboard.
Choose QR Code from the dropdown menu.
Reach the 4th step and select Add QR Code to Watchlist.
You will see a notification saying This QR Code is added to Watchlist
Click Finish.
From the QR Code listing page:
Go to QR Codes from the left navigation bar.
Find the QR Code you want to monitor.
Click the kebab menu on the right and click Add to Watchlist.
Notification frequency and delivery
Daily Email Reports
Once a QR Code is added to your Watchlist, you will receive a daily email summarizing all scan activity for the watchlisted codes.
Click View Analytics in the email to be redirected to your Uniqode dashboard, where you can view the detailed analytics.
The analytics view will be pre-filtered to show data for the QR Codes that are currently in your Watchlist.
You can adjust the date range at the top of the analytics page to see how your QR Codes have performed over different periods.
Click Share at the top right if you need to share analytics data of your Watchlist with your team or stakeholders.
On the Watchlist Analytics page, you’ll see a summary of the scan activity, including:
Total scans: The number of scans your QR Codes have received within the selected timeframe.
Users: The total number of unique users who scanned the codes.
Trend charts: Visual representations of scan trends over time help you identify peak engagement periods and any significant changes.
Note: If your watchlisted QR Codes do not receive any scans during the day, you will not receive any email notification.
Milestone notifications: You will also receive milestone (1st, 25th, 50th, and 100th scans received) notifications on your watchlisted codes.
Managing your watchlist
To view all the QR Codes you're currently monitoring, go to QR Codes --> Watchlist on your dashboard's listing screen.
You can easily add any dynamic QR Code to your Watchlist directly from the listing screen or during editing.
You'll receive daily email notifications for your Watchlisted QR Codes, but only if they have received scans.
To stop receiving notifications for a specific QR Code, visit the Watchlist tab and click 'Remove from Watchlist' next to the relevant code.
If a QR Code is transferred to another organization, it will be automatically removed from the Watchlist of users without access to the new organization.
