Create a custom error page (404) for your QR Codes

An on-brand custom error page (404) can help you boost your brand recognition and keep your audience engaged even if your QR Codes stop working.

Prerequisites

Custom error page (404) is available for Business plan and above.

Note: Custom error page setup is a one-time process. Admins and Editors will only see the option to create one if it hasn’t already been set up.

How to set up your custom error page

For Admins

  1. Sign in to your Uniqode Account

  2. Create a Website/PDF type QR Code

  3. Click on Customize error page

  4. You'll be redirected to a linkpage template for the custom error page

  5. Add your brand assets and content to create a personalized on-brand error page

  6. Click NEXT STEP to customize the design and then click FINISH

  7. Your linkpage will be saved, and you can select to set it up as the custom error page

  8. Click Save

For Editors

  1. Sign in to your Uniqode Account

  2. Create a Website/PDF type QR Code

  3. Click on Customize error page

  4. You'll be redirected to a linkpage template for the custom error page

  5. Add your brand assets and content to create a personalized on-brand error page

  6. Click NEXT STEP to customize the design and then click FINISH

  7. Once done, you can notify your admin to take the next steps

  8. Your admin will receive and email to review the linkpage and set it up as the default error page
