Uniqode Forms now supports Microsoft Excel integration, allowing you to automatically export form responses to a workbook in real time. This makes it easier to analyze responses and derive insights faster.
Prerequisites
Uniqode Pro/Core plan or above
Admin or Editor access to Forms
A Microsoft account
Important: The "forms_microsoft_integration" feature permission must be enabled for the org. Microsoft Entra ID tenant admin may need to grant consent for first-time setup.
Connect Your Microsoft Account to Forms
Sign in to your Uniqode account.
Create a new Form or edit an existing Form.
Go to Step 3: SET UP.
Click the Microsoft Excel card under INTEGRATIONS.
Click Sign in with Microsoft to connect your account.
Select the Microsoft account you want to connect.
Grant Uniqode permission to access and manage your Excel files.
Click Continue.
Note: Any user with Admin or Editor access can connect their own Microsoft account to link Excel to their forms.
Admin Consent for first-time setup
Please follow the steps below to grant admin consent in Microsoft Entra ID, formerly Azure Active Directory (Azure AD):
Go to Azure Portal → Microsoft Entra ID, formerly Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) → Enterprise Applications
Search for “Uniqode Forms Integration”
Select the application
Navigate to Permissions (under Security)
Click “Grant admin consent for [tenant name]”
Review the requested permissions:
Files.ReadWrite
User.Read
offline_access
Click Accept to complete the process
Link a Workbook to Your Form
You can either create a new workbook or connect an existing one to export form responses.
Create a new workbook
Enter a name for the workbook so you can easily identify it later.
Connect an existing workbook
Select the workbook from the dropdown list, or
Type the name of the workbook to find and select it.
Click Save once done.
Click Next to continue.
Sync Existing Responses
If your form already has responses, you can choose Sync existing responses to export all previous responses to the connected Excel workbook.
Note: It may take up to 15 seconds for responses to appear in the linked workbook.
Disconnect a Linked Workbook
Go to Step 3: SET UP of the form you want to disconnect.
Click the Microsoft Excel card under INTEGRATIONS.
Click Disconnect Workbook.
Click Disconnect in the confirmation dialog box to complete the action.
Note: Once disconnected, new responses will no longer be automatically added to the Excel workbook.
Disconnect Your Microsoft Account
Go to Step 3: SET UP of any form connected to Microsoft Excel.
Click the Microsoft Excel card under INTEGRATIONS.
Click Disconnect Microsoft Account.
Click Disconnect in the confirmation dialog box.
Note: Once your account is disconnected, all linked forms will be unlinked, and responses will stop syncing to Microsoft Excel.
