How do user invitations and account activations work in Uniqode?

Invited users activate via the email link: enter name, set a password, and get logged in. Admins can resend invites via the envelope icon. Expired links need a new invite from the admin.

How Do User Invitations and Account Activations Work in Uniqode?

Uniqode provides a streamlined process for managing user invitations and account activations. This guide explains how invitations work, how to activate accounts, and what to do if an invitation expires.

Overview of User Invitations

When a user is invited to join Uniqode, they receive an email invitation. This email contains a link that allows them to activate their account. Invitations are essential for granting new users access to the platform.

Steps to Activate an Account

To activate an account in Uniqode, follow these steps:

  1. Open the invitation email sent to your registered email address.

  2. Click the activation button provided in the email.

  3. Enter your first and last name as prompted.

  4. Create a password for your account.

  5. Once the password is set, the system will log you in automatically.

Note: If the invited user has not yet accepted the invitation, their name cannot be edited by the account administrator.

Resending Invitations

If a user has not received or acted on their invitation, the account administrator can resend it. To do this:

  • Locate the user in the system.

  • Click the envelope icon next to their username to resend the invitation.

This action will send a new email invitation, allowing the user to proceed with account activation.

Handling Expired Invitations

If an invitation link has expired, it cannot be used to activate the account. In this case, the user should contact their account administrator to request a new invitation. The administrator can then issue a fresh invitation, enabling the user to complete the activation process.
