Introducing Asset library - a single repository to store, standardize, manage and share your organization's digital assets such as logos, pdf files, and media files.
How to create an asset library in Uniqode
Step 1: Navigate to the Asset Library Menu
Head to your Uniqode dashboard and click on the ‘Asset Library’ tab on the left panel.
Click on the ‘Add New Folder’ button on the top right.
(i) Creating a folder
Enter a unique folder name. Ensure that the name does not clash with the names of existing folders. Next, select the ‘Create Folder’ button.
Your new folder will now appear in the ‘Asset Library’ tab.
(ii) Creating a shared folder (BUSINESS+ plan only)
As an admin in an organization, you can choose to share folders with editors across the organization.
NOTE - A folder created by an admin is shared with admins across the organization by default. A folder created by an editor is private and cannot be shared across the organization.
To get started, select the 'Add new folder' button under the 'Asset Library' tab and enter the name of your new folder. To create a shared folder, turn the switch on. You will be asked to pick from two options - Everyone and Organization.
Select ‘Everyone’ to share your folder with users across your organization.
If you want to share your folder specifically with users that share your organization level, select ‘My Organization’.
Hit the ‘Create folder’ button once you’ve made your selection.
Your folder will now appear in the ‘Asset Library’ tab with a blue icon, signifying it is a shared folder.

Understanding pre-built folders in Uniqode
When you open the folder tab for the first time, you’ll find two folders already created for you - ‘Uncategorized’ and ‘Logos’.
Any digital assets you uploaded will be transferred automatically to the ‘Uncategorized’ folder, ensuring that you do not lose any data in the update.
However, any files uploaded as part of your QR Code’s logo will be saved under the ‘Logos’ folder automatically.
When creating a new QR Code, you might find yourself uploading files directly during the customization steps.
If these files are uploaded as QR Code logos, they will be stored in the ‘Logos’ folder.
You will find the files in the' Uncategorized' folder if they are not uploaded as QR Code logos.
Bulk operations in folders
Besides uploading files in bulk, you can carry out many bulk operations to better organize your folders.
(i) Deleting files in bulk
If you want to delete certain files from your folder, simply select them using the checkboxes on the left, and press the ‘Delete’ button in the top right.
If none of the checkboxes are selected, all the files within that folder will be selected by default and permanently deleted.
(ii) Moving files in bulk
You can also choose to move certain files to other folders. Select the files using the checkboxes and press the ‘Move’ button on the top right.
Select the destination folder and your files will be moved in a flash.
Like the delete option, if none of the checkboxes are selected, all the files within the folder will be selected by default and moved to the destination folder.
(iii) Using filters for bulk actions
Filters make it easier to locate files within your folder.
You can filter files by name or by file type.
Once you’ve applied a filter, you can delete or move all the files that match the filter. You can also use the checkboxes to ensure that only the required files from that file type are moved or deleted from the folder.
