Custom parameters are an advanced type of URL parameter that you can add to your dynamic QR Code’s URLs. You can enhance your QR Code tracking abilities by choosing what values your custom (UTM) parameters record once someone scans your code.
Here's how custom parameters work:
Begin creating a Website QR Code.
Add custom parameters to the link. In Uniqode, you can add a parameter's name and its value. These are like little labels for the parameters added.
When someone scans your QR Code, those parameters are automatically attached to their link journey.
The website they're sent to receives those codes and can use them to track valuable information about the scanner's behavior on a tool like Google Analytics.
This means parameters help track links for information like:
Location of scan (e.g., a store, online ad, event).
device used (e.g., iPhone, Android, computer).
source (e.g., an email, social media post, flyer).
actions taken on the website after scanning (e.g., viewing a product, making a purchase).
and much more.
This article explains how to set up custom parameters on your Website QR Code.
Custom parameters are supported on the Website QR Code.

Click Finish to get done.
Note: Uniqode only passes the parameters through the QR Code to your redirected website link, but doesn't support tracking parameters.
