Retarget users using QR Codes with Uniqode + Meta Ads integration

Learn how you can use QR Codes to retarget audiences via Meta Pixel.

Connecting a Meta Pixel to your Uniqode account allows you to serve Meta ads to audiences who have scanned your Uniqode QR Codes.

If you use Uniqode Insights, you can set up a more advanced version of this with server-side tracking and identity matching. See the note below.

Prerequisites

Obtain Pixel ID from Meta Pixel

  1. Click the gear icon in the bottom-left corner, then click Data Sources in the left menu.

  2. Click Pixels.

  3. Copy the ID under your pixel’s name.

Integrate Meta Pixel with Uniqode

  1. Sign in to your Uniqode account.

  2. Click Integrations in the left menu.

  3. Click Facebook Pixel.

  4. Paste the copied ID in the Facebook Pixel Code field.

  5. Click Save.

Once done, all your QR codes' scanned data will be displayed in the Events Manager menu under the event Uniqode QRScan. Please note that the scan count data will be updated every 24 hours.

You can now track the number of people who have scanned your QR Codes with Meta Pixel and make adjustments to retarget your ads towards your users to improve your ad campaign efficiency. You can also test your campaigns and events to see whether they are working properly and run diagnosis for your Pixel by clicking Open in Events Manager.
