Create QR Codes on Canva with our seamless integration

Create and add QR Codes to the designs directly by integrating Canva with your Uniqode account.

Canva is an online designing tool that lets you design posters, graphics, presentations, and other visual content. You can create, customize, and manage QR Codes directly within Canva. The Uniqode Canva app lets you generate branded QR Codes and add them to your designs—without leaving the editor.

Overview

With the Uniqode app in Canva, you can:

  • Create QR Codes for websites, PDFs, and mobile apps

  • Customize designs with logos, colors, and frames

  • Organize QR Codes using folders

  • Add QR Codes directly to your Canva designs

Get Started

When you open the Uniqode app for the first time, you’ll see a prompt to connect your account.

Connect your Uniqode account

  1. Click Connect Uniqode

  2. Sign in or create a new account

  3. Once connected, you’ll land on the home screen

Note: If you close the login window, you can restart the process anytime by clicking Connect Uniqode again.

Navigate the Home Screen

The home screen is your main workspace for managing QR Codes and folders.

Top bar

  • Organization name: Switch between organizations

  • Profile avatar: Access logout

Search

Use the search bar to quickly find QR Codes or folders by name.

Folders

  • View all folders with names and last updated dates

  • Click a folder to open it

  • Click + to create a new folder

QR Codes

  • View all QR codes with preview thumbnails

  • Click a QR code to open details

Create a QR Code

Click Create QR Code at the bottom to get started

Step 1: Select type

Choose one of the following:

  • Website: Link to a URL

  • PDF: Upload or link a document

  • Mobile App: Redirect to app stores

Click Next to continue.

Step 2: Set up content

Website

  • Enter a valid URL (must include https://)

PDF

  • Upload one or more PDFs (max 50 MB each), or

  • Paste a PDF link

Mobile App

  • Add app store links (optional)

  • Add a Web URL (required) as fallback

Step 3: Customize

  • Design your QR Code using templates or custom styling.

  • Click Finish to save your QR Code.

Customize Your QR Code

You can either apply a ready-made template or fully customize your design.

Use templates

  • Choose from pre-designed styles

  • Click to apply instantly

Customize design

You can modify:

  • Logo: Add preset icons or upload your own

  • Eye (inner marker): Change shape and color

  • Eye frame: Customize outer border

  • Data pattern: Adjust dot style

  • Background: Set color (transparent option available on dashboard)

  • Frame: Add borders and call-to-action text
